Focal epilepsy? Feeling lost

Hello, I am new to the forum. I have not been formally diagnosed with epilepsy but have been off and on testing for it (I’ll explain). I’ve been struggling a lot lately because doctors have stopped looking into my episodes because my EEGs are normal (never had an episode while hooked up).

In a nutshell, I’ve had these episodes for over a decade where I space out for 10-40ish seconds. My vision is blurred the whole time and I’m aware. I feel very relaxed during these and sometime my right arm will jerk a few times and occasionally my head. I am not daydreaming when this happens, it just happens. If I’m doing something, I stop what I’m doing or proceed with it very slowly. Speaking is not impossible but for whatever reason it feels more effortful. These episodes are the same every time and have become part of my everyday life.

Apart from these episodes I have brain fog 24/7 that varies in intensity from day to day. I essentially feel very spacey all the time and like I’m thinking through molasses. I also seem to have the memory of a fish which seems to be at its worst lately.

Anyone else have episodes like this? Was it epilepsy?

I’ve had an mri with and without contrast. The only thing that came from that is that I have transverse sinus stenosis which can cause increased cranial pressure. I’ve had multiple EEGs including a video EEG which were normal but as I stated, I never had an episode while hooked up.
