What Burdens Do You Carry?

Living with epilepsy can often feel like a heavy burden—one that affects yourself, your family, and your friends. This forum is a safe space to share your experiences, challenges, and coping strategies.

  1. Expenses for aids not covered by insurance!

    1. Epilepsy has brought many burdens into my life, with change and completely unexpected things. Life's been hard but it's been amazing to see the many supportive people and awesome groups that advocate for epilepsy. The support helps me face anything!

      1. not being able to work

        1. When my daughter turned 13 the grand mal seizures started. We found a neurologist who works with her by trying multiple meds, a VNS implant and anything new that comes on the market. I hate to see her struggle but her resilience keeps me hopeful.
