Have you ever noticed a link between heightened emotions (like anger or stress) and your seizures?

Stress can be tough, but combining stress with lack of sleep is definitely a combination that could cause seizures for me. The problem is if I allow myself to get too stressed it makes me more tired. Also, if I’m tired, it makes me more likely to get stressed. These two factors really are intertwined for me with seizures.

going for a walk, listening to music, or reading the Bible all help to decrease my stress. I also find it is crucial to try to go to bed at the same time every night. When I stay up latr I know thta makes me extra tired. I aim to go to bed by 10 o’clock and try to stay pretty strictly to that these are things that help out quite a bit..

that is great to hear you have a routine and hobbies that help with stress. I think that consistency is key to maintaining balance. Thanks for sharing with us. Jill (Team Member)
