Does heat triggers seizures?
I just moved from California to Arizona and I’ve been having frequent seizures I’m not stressed , it’s the hot wind,pavement, also it’s hard to make friends I’ve become more introverted
Yes, heat does cause seizures to increase. Many anti seizure medications require patients to stay out of the heat for a long time.
I have suffered 1st and 2nd degree burn while taking anti seizure medications and being in the heat.

The heat here in Alabama does me the same way and I have grandma seizures and never just one at a time i recently had 6 back to back from stress an broke my nose OMG it was awful and I take my meds every day
I can imagine that’s a big adjustment from California to Arizona. Especially now in the middle of summer!
