Advice writing realistic portrayal of epilepsy
I've recently gotten it into my head to write a story with a protagonist that has epilepsy, and I want to be sure I'm writing an accurate portrayal of this awful disease. I'd love to find someone to talk to and run ideas by, as no one I know has this condition. I'm in no way trying to profit off of this story or trying to romanticize this condition, I just want it to be respectful and educational.

I am glad to hear you want to write a story and you want to do the research first so that your story is accurate. We have a couple Community Rules that we need to be careful of, which include: for the safety of our community members activity cannot contain any personal information such as an e-mail address, physical/mailing address, or phone number, so directly contacting members is not permitted.
