VENT: How are you doing? - Really.

Life with a chronic condition, like epilepsy, has its challenges and frustrations - that is no secret. Sometimes it is helpful to talk about those frustrations or upsetting times and not keep them inside.

Whether you live with epilepsy or are advocating for someone with the condition, it's essential to connect with others who understand the challenges and frustrations you may be facing.

So, share away! This is a safe space to vent about what's happening with you! How are you doing?

  1. My epilepsy diagnosis was a relief to explain all weird out of body feelings. Once thought was psychic or crazy before I knew bout epilepsy. A physical not mental prob with meds to help.Learned of geniusses thru history who also had seizures but no idea why, I was amazed. Glad we knew better with meds to help control. Once had frequent drop down type but always knew I'd be fine. Was 53yrs ago depression not spoken of just had to deal with the seizures. Had falls many stitches tongue & cheeks but nothing like a stroke, heart attack would cause. Happy & healthy despite my 53yrs of epilepsy. Great new meds for all kinds of seizures why some anti or want to go back to crazy years ago. A fav of mine Alice in Wonderland was inspired by Carroll's own seizures felt a bit insane. Glad we know better than that for sure with real meds finally to help not hurt.
