I was diagnosed with Epilepsy at 41 years old. I was Married, have a beautiful daughter, Bought and restored a home, and a lot of other things off my bucket list. Then Epilepsy! Lost my job of 20 years, I drove my wife crazy with all the AED research,my daughter is embarrassed of her dad,etc.... I'd be fine if people didn't treat me differently, or so patronizing. The Stigma that comes with Epilepsy is worse sometimes than the Siezure itself.
