Cronic Seizures

I have been having mal and grand-mal seizures since I was 6 years old. Growing up, school was challenging, stressful and depressing having bad seizures in class and watching everyone stare me down while I enter an ambulance. OMG working was 10x harder. I have been terminated from EVERY job I have had because of these seizures. And the government still won't give me disability. As a man with cronic seizures not being able to work and absolutely no money in my pocket to support myself. What am I supposed to do? I applied for school and started taking online classes. On now for my major I had 3 on campus classes. I can barely get to campus and my lawyer says if I take these 3 classes it is showing the disability office I am able to work. I'm about to give up!!!!!

  1. Hi I can't even imagine how difficult this must be for you. My heart breaks for the challenges you are facing. I am sending over this article from one of our members who talks about her hardships with work: https://epilepsydisease.com/living/worthy-of-work. In this article, there are links for hopefully finding some financial help: https://epilepsydisease.com/financial-assistance. And I am sending over this article with disability resources: https://epilepsydisease.com/resources-disability. I really hope this can be helpful for you. Jill (Team Member)
