Conversation with a Friend

I have had epilepsy for the better part of my life. I had gotten a CDL license, so I looked normal. At work one day a friend of mine said that he saw someone having a seizure, and that it was great. It struck me odd that he would think that it was funny.

I asked, "what did he do?" He waved his hands over his head.

Then I asked him, "what did he say?" He said, "mur mur".

I asked my friend if that's how I talk and react when he talks to me. He said, "no, you're normal"

That's when I told him that I had epilepsy. He said no you don't and I said yes I do. He couldn't believe it.

Are there people in your life that don't know you have epilepsy? How do you decide who and when to tell? Share about it in the comments!
