Summer with Epilepsy
Which aspect of summer most impacts your epilepsy management?
Heat is a huge trigger for me. If it's over I'm not allowed to go anywhere. I've even had hot flashes cause issues
Heat? Considering a high temp and febrile seizures is large part of the cause of my seizures, I HATE heat. When I had a VEEG, they wanted to use my triggers. Nothing happened until they cranked the heat in my room to 84°. Then we had seizures.
I get dehydrated easy this time of year so I stock up on Pedialyte, Gatorade and coconut water this time of year
