Formerly Special Operator: Now Disabled

I’m a retired Air Force Special Operations Meteorologist. I had a head injury on the job in 1990. It led a massive brain tumor that was extracted in Jan 1997. I had another procedure in Jan Y2K to map and remove part of the mass left in place due to its depth. It left me with epilepsy. Since 2010, my hearing has become worse and my seizures have increased. I have suffered three massive seizures in the past week. Now my Dr wants me to stop driving until my medications are adjusted to the proper level. I’m researching assisted living for Alabama/ Florida Veterans. But the cost starts at $4,000/ mo. It’s about all I make. I am 60 y/o. I was injured working for Special Forces in the 1990s. I retired medically on 12 Apr 01. I can no longer live alone because I have begun suffering a focal seizure nightly.
