Tonic clonic seizure after effects
Hi my partner has recently had a tonic clonic seizure which was quite severe requiring hospital admissions. This was two days ago and he is now experiencing a strange sensation in his hand and his thumb is twitching lasting around 10 seconds or so. Is this normal after a seizure or a warning sign of further seizures? Thanks

So sorry your partner is going through this. If it's a tingling sensation in his head, then it could possibly be simple partial seizures. I have those quite often when I'm around bright or blinking lights or if it's time to take my medication. I am not a professional, so you both should reach out to his neurologist to let him/her know. Inform the doctor of the strange sensation and numbness.
