restless leg syndrome

Along with Petit Mal, I have R.L.S. Keppra now controls seizures but nothing other than opiates seem to calm my legs. Requip does nothing and Gabapentin puts me to sleep with my legs still flailing. I think I've had some kind of seizure twice this past week, even while adding oxycodone to the medicine cabinet.

  1. The group. I was born premature and have a shunt. I had hereditary migraines and I think that I had a few seizures along the way but didn't know what they were. I ended up having seizures when I got into college around 1990. They played around with medications and what not from 1990 to 95. I took seizure medication until 2007. I haven't had anything since then until about 2 years ago. I'm having migraine headaches again and I don't know why? I am twitching when I'm trying to go to sleep sometimes it's my left leg sometimes my legs are flailing sometimes it's my head and my arms. Is it restless leg syndrome if my head is twitching? I was in the hospital last weekend Friday Saturday Sunday for a seizure study and they didn't detect anything. They put me on a low dose of anti-seizure medication because I didn't exhibit any signs in the hospital but that doesn't mean that I don't. I'm also feeling like my body weighs a ton literally. I'm having equilibrium and balance issues. I've had individuals tell me it's vertigo I went to two ENT specialist and they said it wasn't vertigo. This equilibrium balance my body feeling heavy and like my feet are stuck in cement is really getting to me. If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge it would be greatly appreciated God bless each and everyone of you. Thank you in advance.
