TBI Recovery Time

Hello Everyone, My mother has had a seizure 3 weeks ago out of the blue one morning. I immediately called 911 and she was administered several anti seizure medications along with fentanyl and propofol drip for over one week. I was finally able to get the icu team to stop the excessive dosages after seeing she was not awakening. She was hooked up to a ventilator and eeg immediate upon the icu arrival. The ventilator was taken off after 14 days and is now with a trach and peg. Her vitals are good and stable. She has eye opening cycles but does not track yet. She feels pinches and raise her shoulders and just started to try raising her head. No limbs movement yet. My question is how long before we will see eye tracking and any other improvements with her consciousness? She reacts to loud speaking and some music. Sometime turns towards me when asked to do so. I’m very worried and upset as I think the icu team overdosed her. Please help me understand so I can help her recover. She has had several ct scans and mri scans and no more seizure activity is showing. Her scans do not show any brain damage and the doctors don’t know why she isn’t recovering faster. I read it takes time but now the doctors say since she not showing any signs of consciousness there isn’t more they can do and she will need to leave the hospital. Thank you for your time.
