Everyday is a better day!

I was born with epilepsy when I was a few weeks old, it went away for 9 years came back the summer of 2010 and had 2 brain surgeries one to map out where the seizures were coming from and another to take out my left frontal lobe of my brain which was my speech area. Then I had 2 years of occupational speech and physical therapy and 9 months of hospital homebound. I went into high school my second semester of my freshman year and graduated with a regular diploma and am now living every day like it’s the best!!!!! I’m so completely happy!!!!

  1. so happy to hear about this accomplishment!! WOOHOO! Epilepsy can be a really tough journey so that fact that you're choosing to remain positive and find hope in every new day is such a bright light for the community. Wishing you all the best! Warmly, Kailah (Epilepsy Team Member) 💜
