Confusing

I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2013 I was 36 very strange experiences. A few months before this I suffered with constant ear infections and was always on antibiotics, my mum thinks this triggered my seizures. I'm used to them now don't have many usually at night in my sleep I hate waking up wet myself, confused headache they still freak me out though. I worry so much about my memory as this is getting worse πŸ˜’πŸ˜’ Can anyone relate?

  1. Hi Lydean,

Thank you for reaching out! When I had my first seizure or episode, I had strange experiences. My seizures started at the age of 9 years old. At the age of 9, I had my first experience. I cried all day. I woke up with a horrible headache and couldn't stop crying, with a terrible headache. A year later, I was diagnosed with epilepsy.

I'm so sorry you're experience the urination. I have as well. Don't be to. hard on yourself. We aren't in control during a seizure.

Here's an article that may help.

    1. hi hope you're well thank you so much! It feels good chatting to someone who really understands. I know I try not to be too hard and I know I can't help it, still freak me out 11 years later 😳 very weird like you said emotional after, confused etc. I appreciate your messages they really lift me up THANK YOU 😊

    2. Hi there! I'm well and you're welcome. Yes, don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes those seizures really give a confused state. And of course- that's what we are here for.
