Cognitive affects of epilepsy

Hi all great to connect with you. Some things I have always struggled with are poor hand eye coordination, poor sense of direction and not be good at all at practical tasks. Are these things any other epileptics have struggled with?

  1. That makes sense I just don't remember how to get to places instantly like other people. I have to go to a place several times in a row back for it gets etched in my memory. I feel like I have faulty wiring in my brain!

    1. Hi there Rohit!
Many years ago I struggled with practical tasks such as counting and even reading. It was because of the medication I was on at the time. Now, I still have a horrible sense of direction. I literally do not remember how to get anywhere. I use GPS faithfully and landmarks.

      1. Thank you for reaching out. Do you think your sense of direction issue is due to the medication or the condition itself?

      2. of course! No, I don't think my sense of direction issue is due to my medication. I think it is connected to my memory. In a sense, it is from my medication.
