Lifestyle changes

Have you made any lifestyle changes to manage your epilepsy? If so, what changes have you made?

  1. Have any of you all lost touch with friends and family ,
12/24/26 had a seizure at my son's house. Woke up looking at a police man
    Then EMT
was asked to go home and rest. Witch is good.Fine. OK. 2 hours later got a call. Can't go see them
MISS THEM A LOT. Kids come First. They are young and lot of time to watch them 3 grow up.

  2. I went on SSI b/c they didn't have any answers. My college GPA kept going down, was unable to finish my BS degree and increasing my medications. I've had 3 brain surgeries, still have seizures. My SSI isn't enough to pay monthly bills, so I am constantly dealing with anxiety. This isn't a fun life, always worried about bills. I am a 55yr old male, I've never been married b/c I didn't want to put this on a woman's shoulders. The government always watching to see how much I make to see what they can take away.

  3. I don't drive, it's ruined relationships and jobs in the past can coexist with it, it was is

  4. Stopping my career had a profound effect on me. At the same time, my seizures reduced significantly. All that education and experience, the seizures took my driver's license and my memory. Devastating with the short term loss, I am taken back and disbelief is mine
