Lifestyle changes

Have you made any lifestyle changes to manage your epilepsy? If so, what changes have you made?

  1. I think living with Epilepsy should be one those answers, having to live your whole life taking different medications sometimes, trying your best to live your life like everybody else, not having deal with memory loss, auras, constant worry of seizures

  2. My seizures resulted from a brain tumor. Surgery to remove it caused paralysis on the outside of my left leg. So not only can I not drive, I struggle to walk with a walker. I live with my husband, who is my caregiver. Pros and cons to that arrangement. The pro is that he hasn't stepped away from me as most friends and family have.

  3. My husband died 3 and a half years ago. I had to move in with my son and family. Can't drive, have to depend on someone else. People don't understand until it happens to them.

  4. Have any of you all lost touch with friends and family ,
12/24/26 had a seizure at my son's house. Woke up looking at a police man
    Then EMT
was asked to go home and rest. Witch is good.Fine. OK. 2 hours later got a call. Can't go see them
MISS THEM A LOT. Kids come First. They are young and lot of time to watch them 3 grow up.

    1. I am so sorry to hear this. My heart truly goes out to you. Jill (Team Member)
