Receiving Acknowledgment From the Outside World About Epilepsy

I hate it when my husband and I go shopping. Especially around the holidays...

Flashing lights and seizures

My husband will tell me there is flashing lights ahead. However, in the outside world, that's typically not the case. How insensitive is it to not include warning signs for folks like me? If there is any type of flashing lights, strobe, Christmas lights, construction lights, police cars, fire trucks, and ambulance's, they all have lights that flash and can put me into a seizure, unfortunately.

We have even had to shut episodes on tv or movies off because of strobe lights on them. People need to have a heart and read the warning signs. I cannot do a lot of things because of my seizures... Sometimes, this makes me feel very lonely.
